As some may know, my mom and I have been working tirelessly on this book for over the past year. The blog has been quiet for some months and as we worked to complete it. This is not only our story and personal journeys with autism, but strategies and roadmaps that we hope may help at least one person. It is told from both my point of view as an autistic person and my mother’s point of view as the parent. We felt that both are so invaluable and wanted to have the two experiences in one place for readers.

My mom is the strongest person I have ever known. I never thought I would write a book and I am so honored that I had the opportunity to not only write one but co-author it with my hero. This book is about more than just autism, it is a slice of life. We wanted to share our story, all of it. The triumphs, the defeats, and the lessons learned along the way.
